Online Test FAQ

You have arrived at the Private Prep's online home for test taking.

This page is dedicated to answering questions related to our online test taker.

This is separate from our paper test proctored guide which can be found here.

How do I get an admissions ticket?

For online tests, you do not need to register for a test!

Instead, you just need to sign in and get started at your own pace.

How do I sign in?

So that you don't have to keep track of another password, our online test platform uses 'Magic Link' sign on.

Simply enter the email associated with the student account on file to the form on the sign on page and then wait for an email to arrive into your inbox with a magic link to sign in.

What tests are offered online?

We are currently offering access to our online test platform for the following tests to existing clients:

  • Digital SAT – 8 tests
  • LL ISEE – 3 tests
  • ML ISEE – 3 tests
  • ML SSAT – 1 test
  • UL ISEE – 3 tests
  • UL SSAT – 1 test

Why practice online?

  1. Get the feel for the test: The content of the online tests we offer is the same as the paper tests, but taking a test online comes with its own tools that are worth practicing.
  2. Learn to use the tools: The online test has features like highlighting and flagging answer choices. The tools can be useful if you know how to use them effectively before the test!
  3. Practice showing work: Although the test is online, you will want to practice the ways that you will annotate and show your work on scratch paper. Taking an online practice test and using scratch paper is the best way to get the feel for showing work.

How do I get access?

We are currently offering access only to existing Private Prep customers.
